- There is only one God who has revealed Himself in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things.
- Humanity fell into sin when Adam and Eve rebelled against God. For this reason, death and evil entered into the world.
- Jesus Christ, who is truly God, became a human being to save us and make us right with Him again.
- The Bible is God’s Word and is entirely without error. It tells us everything we need to know about God.
- God comes to us through the Bible and also through His Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
- Baptism gives faith and is God’s free gift. Because babies need to be saved, they too should be baptized.
- In the Lord’s Supper, Jesus gives us His own body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins.
- Jesus will return on the Last Day to judge the world and to fulfill all of His promises.
- As Lutherans, we hold without reservation to the Book of Concord as a true explanation of what the Bible says.
